Boot family welcomes Foreman Capital as new shareholder

BOOT FAMILY WELCOMES FOREMAN CAPITAL AS NEW SHAREHOLDER OF THE ROYAL NNZ GROUP

After more than 104 years of family ownership, the Boot family has decided to welcome a new shareholder to The Royal NNZ Group. Following a carefully managed strategic process, Foreman Capital has been selected as the partner to support the next phase in the development of the international packaging company. The Boot family will remain actively involved in the business and considers Foreman Capital the ideal partner to support the company’s continuity, growth and ongoing professionalization.

Founded in 1922 by Marinus Boot, The Royal NNZ Group has grown from a family-owned business in Groningen into an international company serving customers throughout Europe, North America and beyond. Over four generations, entrepreneurship, long-term thinking, reliability, and a strong commitment to employees and customers have formed the foundation of the company’s success.

The investment by Foreman Capital marks the beginning of a new chapter in the company’s history. It provides the financial strength to support and accelerate the strong growth achieved in recent years. The additional investment will enable NNZ to further strengthen its inventory position, logistics capabilities, digital transformation, artificial intelligence initiatives, commercial development and international expansion.

Throughout the strategic process, the Boot family and The Royal NNZ Group were advised by Nielen Schuman of Amsterdam. Acting as corporate finance adviser, Nielen Schuman supported both the family and the company during every stage of the transaction.
